About Embio PLA
Embio PLA (PolyLactic Acid) biopolymers are derived from plants that absorb CO2 from our atmosphere, reducing the carbon footprint by over 75% compared to traditional plastics. Embio PLA biopolymers can be recycled like any other polymer or broken down naturally, helping to cut down on plastic pollution.
The Embio PLA portfolio spans commercial grades for extrusion, injection moulding, spinning and 3D printing, serving applications including packaging, food service ware, appliances, textiles, non-wovens and 3D printing. Embio grades are designed to meet the technical requirements of its target markets and at the same time comply with recognised industrial composting and food contact standards.
